How to share your data widely

User: For security reasons eCAT does not allow any data to be shown without an eCAT login. If you want to make some data (Experiments, other records, files, etc) publicly available, ask your eCAT administrator to set up a guest account, as described below.

Once there is a guest account, your Administrator will select one of two methods for making data accessible to that account:

If you want to allow users to make some of their data (Experiments, Records, files, etc.) public, you will need to establish a user account for public access (e.g., username guest, password guest). Then you will need to make it known (perhaps on the web page where you advertise this public data) how to log in.
